Other Spoor

In most habitats animal tracks are the most abundant and generally the most important clues to locating a quarry or just seeing what has been there. But they are not the only signs animals leave. For instance, fresh droppings can be a trackers most useful ageing device and diggings and feeding signs indicate to a tracker what food his quarry is interested in and therefore where it may go next.

This section is dedicated to those kinds of spoor. Look out for them and send us any interesting ones you find - remember not to keep your eyes glued to the ground, there are signs - and animals - all around you waiting for you to spot them!
